Something Blue

SOMETHING BLUE

ABOUT

Make something blue (and something new) for special love ceremonies. Gather friends together to dye napkins, table runners, scarves, other cloth items. We’ll gather in the Santa Cruz Mountains where you’ll learn simple shibori and dip-dye techniques with indigo, an ancient and sacred source of blue. You’ll also enjoy light refreshments and a dye-inspired mocktail. Workshop lengths vary with a maximum of 5 hours.

I provide elegant dinner napkins, table runners, and yardage upon purchase. If you’d like to bring your own fabric to dye, it must be 100% natural. If you’d like to bring your own, I’ll help you choose the right fabric.

Where

A private residence and dye studio in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The workshop is outside amongst fresh air and plants.
